Are your treatment health-fund claimable?

Absolutely! All our treatments are health-fund claimable, regardless of what you've received during the treatment (Remedial, Sports, Dry Needling, Myofascial Cupping).

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is parking available. Keep in mind, it can get busy during the weekend as families love to visit Monkey Mania.

What makes Remedial Massage Therapy different?

Remedial Massage Therapy is treatment focused on alleviating your pain, tension or discomfort. A physical assessment is conducted to allows the therapist to identify areas that need focusing. The therapist can also prescribe exercises to help you, depending on yyour condition. Remedial Massage Therapy can include relaxation elements, however it's more targeted and pinpoints your wants and needs. 

For my first session, what treatment type of session should I book?

For your first session, we recommend that you book in our 60 minute session to give our therapist ample time to conduct a physical assessment and provide treatment to help you with your current situation. However, if you have experience going to massage therapist, you can choose our 30 & 90 minute options.

Am I required to undress for my session at all? 

No. The therapist might ask you to undress during the initial assessment of the treatment for postural analysis. If you are uncomfortable undressing for the treatment, we can always treat you with your clothes on.

Do you charge more if I include Cupping or Dry Needling?

Not at all, our treatments are inclusive of all treatment modalities. This will be dependant on whether the pracititoner recommends it or not. 

Am I supposed to be sore after a session?

Soreness post-treatment can be expected. Some general tips after the session is to avoid aggravating and training the muscle, drinking plenty of water and to priortise sleep. Other tips can be given by the practitioner.
